In an unusual turn of events, renowned singer P!nk faced an uncomfortable incident during her performance at the British Summer Time Festival at London’s Hyde Park. The artist was four songs into her performance when a fan threw a pouch of what was revealed to be their mother’s ashes onto the stage.
P!nk, known for her formidable stage presence and bravado, found herself momentarily at a loss for words. The unexpected event led her to pick up the pouch and ask the fan, “Is this your mum?” Confusion was clear in P!nk’s response: “I don’t know how I feel about this.”

P!nk swiftly placed the package behind the front-of-stage speakers, and, continued her performance. The incident, although unsettling, was not enough to stop her from performing.
P!nk is set to return to Australia, for a series of performances in February and March 2024. These include Sydney, Newcastle, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth.
For now, let’s hope fans keep their, um… personal possessions, to themselves when P!nk is in Australia.
