Winter flu warning

As we head into winter, residents across the Eyre Peninsula are being urged to protect themselves against influenza.

This advice comes as new figures reveal nearly three-quarters of Aussies are unvaccinated against the flu, while the number of laboratory-confirmed cases has already topped 50,000.

Associate Professor Paul Griffin says now is the time for locals to take action.
