Two people have suffered serious injuries in an Eyre Highway truck rollover yesterday morning.
Police and emergency crews were called to Panitya, southwest of Kimba, at about 1.15am, after the B-double rolled over, resulting in a significant diesel spill and the leak of an unidentified chemical.
Both lanes of the highway between Kimba and Panitya were closed until Sunday afternoon, as hazmat and heavy rescue crews attended to contain the spill.

The driver and a passenger were freed and taken to the local hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
