Bargain hunters will be counting down the days until this Sunday, 21 April, for the Tumby Bay Community Garage Sales and Market.
Running for a second year, there will be over 30 garage sales and a market in Tumby Bay this weekend.
Organiser Jackie Hibble says it’s a good way to turn someone else’s trash into your treasure, and a good way to support charity.
“Variety the Children’s Charity is the cause that I’m raising money for, Ms Hibble says.
“The way that I raise money through this event is by all the stallholders and all the garage sale holders pay me a registration fee, I also hope to get a gold coin donation from people when they come to pick up the map.”
She says you may need to bring a trailer.
“The variety of items that we’ve got listed for these garage sales are mind boggling – we’ve got everything from the usual household items, we’ve got vintage glass, rabbit traps, cars, rims, lots of people selling camping gear, gophers, you name it, there’s a garage sale with it.”
You can find all the garage sales by picking up a map at the Tumby Bay Community Centre from 8:30am on Sunday.
