Streaky Bay bushfire prep underway

A free bushfire safety workshop is on its way to Streaky Bay.

The workshop will demonstrate various ways to stay safe in the event of a bushfire, including:

• Preparing your home for the best outcome.

• Making informed decisions about whether to stay and defend the property or to flee.

• Understanding emergency warnings.

• Reading and predicting local weather conditions.

The workshop will be on 24 August at the Streaky Bay RSL Hall.
