Several new shark attack kits have popped up at popular surfing spots around Elliston.
The local council installing first aid kits at Walkers Reef, Blacks and Cliffs surf breaks, with one at Sheringa also on the way.
It follows two attacks in the district last year, one of them fatal.

Mayor Andrew McLeod says 26 people took part in training sessions for the kits last week, showing just how prominent the issue is for the community.
