A Whyalla Stuart man was arrested last week after crashing his electric scooter into a parked car.
Police spotted the 31-year-old riding the scooter without a helmet on Noble Street around 6pm on Thursday 13 July and asked him to stop.
The man failed to stop and police monitored him until he collided with the front of a parked car on Angas Street.
As the man attempted to ride away from the scene, police caught him and a struggle ensued.
He was arrested and police found drugs, drug equipment and a scalpel in his backpack.
The man was charged with driving unregistered and uninsured, carrying an offensive weapon, resisting police, drug offences and breach of bail.
He appeared in the Whyalla Magistrates Court last week.
