Rural Bank has released its Mid-Year Outlook highlighting ideal seasonal conditions and strong production over the first half of this year.
The report covers the performance of cattle, sheep, wool, cropping, dairy and horticulture industries with producers projected to do well following a good start to 2023.
However, Head of Agribusiness Development at Rural Bank Andrew Smith says farmers will face some setbacks over the coming months.

Mr Smith says Australian winter crop production is forecast to fall 34 per cent from last season’s record, but export opportunities remain positive for Australian wheat.
