Whyalla residents have two weeks left to provide feedback on the change to a Capital Value rating system, replacing the Site Value system as per State Government legislation.
Capital Value is based on all aspects of a property – including the land, house and shed – whereas Site Value is about location and land value.

Whyalla is one of three Councils in the state still using the Site Value system, as the changeover has been delayed for as long as possible.
The new system will be introduced on 1 July.
