Eyre Peninsula residents are encouraged to complete 3,144 push-ups this June as part of a nationwide challenge to raise money for mental health.
The push-up challenge represents the number of Australian lives lost to suicide each year.
Push-Up Challenge Founder Nick Hudson says funds raised will help support the work of mental health organisations, including Lifeline and the Movember Foundation.
Regional communities are encouraged to get involved because rates of poor mental health increase with remoteness.
