Prime Minister Anthony Albanese touched down in Port Lincoln yesterday to meet with locals and discover challenges and opportunities in the region.
The Prime Minister says his government works better when it gets beyond Canberra and the big cities, and that they’re committed to working hard for all Australians, no matter where they live.
He visited Viterra’s Port Lincoln grain terminal today to tour the facility.
“This is an extraordinary facility, Prime Minister Albanese said.
“Exports from here reached $1 billion in the last year – a billion dollars of income to Australia, creating jobs, creating economic activity, boosting regional Australia… providing the world with our best in-class grains.”
