Port Lincoln jetty swimming enclosure closed for repairs

Morning dips down at the Port Lincoln jetty pool will be on hold for a while, as Stage Two of repair works begin.

Starting today, the swimming enclosure will be closed as Southern Ocean Diving and Marine start the works.

The repairs involve involve re-driving nine loose piles and installing five new piles to enhance the structural stability of the swimming enclosure.

The predator net installed in November last year will also be rotated with a second net to allow the current net to be cleaned and maintained.

Repairs will finish up ahead of the Easter long weekend on Thursday, 28 March.
