Two men have been arrested and the search is on for a third, after an altercation at a Whyalla home yesterday…
Just before 9am, three armed men attended a home on Bradford Street, breaking down the door, smashing windows and CCTV cameras, before driving off in a stolen car.
Two of the three men were known to the victim.
The vehicle was found in the driveway of a nearby home, but as police pulled up behind it, the driver reversed and rammed the police vehicle before driving off.
It was pursued briefly but was lost sight of shortly later.
A 25-year-old man from Port Lincoln has been arrested and charged with property damage, assault police and hinder/resist police.
A 31-year-old man from Whyalla Norrie was charged with misuse of a motor vehicle and driving disqualified.
Police are still searching for the third suspect along with the stolen car – anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
