A P plate driver lost their licence for six months after being caught speeding at Tumby Bay on Monday.
Around 4:40pm on 12 June, a highway patrol was undertaking speed detection duties on the Lincoln Highway when they detected a Ford sedan travelling at 156 km/h in a 110 km/h speed zone.
The 18-year-old Eyre Peninsula driver was issued an expiation notice totalling $2832 for excessive speed and two counts of breaching his P2 conditions.
