The Port Lincoln City Council has opted not to implement any specific times for small dogs at the Dog Park.
Port Lincoln Times reported that an overwhelming majority opposed the proposal in a recent public consultation.
Many respondents reportedly expressed concerns over segregation, safety and fairness.

Mayor Diana Mislov said that community safety officers will continue to patrol the park to ensure usage and behaviour aligns with community standards.
The consultation was put forward after issues were raised between small and big dogs both using the park at the same time.
