Grain Producers SA have partnered with soil analyst FarmLab for a $1.8 million project, and they’re seeking 15 grain growers to jump on board by undertaking soil testing to measure carbon.
The Soil Carbon Innovation Challenge project will cover the cost of the soil sampling and lab testing, which would usually leave farmers out of pocket thousands of dollars.
GPSA CEO Brad Perry says they’re proud to be a partner in the Federal Government’s project, and it plays an important role as international markets and stakeholders in the supply chain demand more accurate farm level data.
