A man’s been sentenced to more than ten years behind bars for a deadly bashing on the Eyre Peninsula.
Adam Troy Bennett assaulted his travel companion, Peter Hillier, during a drunken fight in Poochera in May 2022.
He originally pleaded not guilty to murder before entering a guilty plea on the lesser charge of manslaughter.

The 45-year-old has been sentenced to 13 years in prison with a non-parole period of ten years and five months.
