Local schools to receive federal funding

More than 120 schools across the state – including four in Port Lincoln – will share in $3 million as part of the federal government’s Schools Upgrade Fund.

Port Lincoln High School, Port Lincoln Primary, Lincoln Gardens Primary and Navigator College will each receive $25,000.

The money will go towards projects around the school grounds and in classrooms including improved outdoor learning areas, air conditioning, or new tablets and laptops.
