A couple of local high schools have been named among the best performing in the state.
That’s according to the independently run Better Education website, which analyses data provided by schools to help parents make decisions for their children.
There are 52 schools across the state which scored at least 90 out of 100, based on factors including performance in English and mathematics.

13 of the 52 are public schools, including Wudinna Area School who found themselves in 46th spot on the list.
Whyalla Norrie’s Sunrise Christian School came in 11th.
