Local producers eligible for grant to protect crops

Local producers are encouraged to apply for grants to purchase protective nets for their crops.

A major $14.6 million federal program has been expanded, with all South Australian growers now able to apply.

Fifty per cent subsidies for protective nets are available per applicant to the tune of $300,000 each.

Applications close in June next year.
