The SES hosted volunteers and five local businesses at their Port Lincoln headquarters last night to present Certificates of Appreciation.
Local businesses in attendance were McDonalds, DK Quarries, Bunnings, Q Mechanical, and EP Broadcasters.
McDonalds were recognised for providing free meals for volunteers during emergencies; DK Quarries were recognised for providing sand, diggers and a training ground for volunteers; Bunnings were recognised for providing equipment; Q Mechanical were recognised for prioritising emergency service vehicles at every hour; and EP Broadcasters were recognised for their commitment to emergency broadcasting.
Unit Manager Ben Stobart says the SES are grateful for all the help provided by their volunteers and local businesses.
