There’s hopes interstate and overseas health workers will be drawn to SA shores by the State Government’s new ‘For Work, For Life’ campaign.
Over the next three months, the campaign will promote competitive pay and career opportunities, while highlighting SA’s beaches and nature.
Financial incentives are also in place for existing South Australian health workers who move from metro to country regions to fill gaps.
As a healthcare crisis looms on the Eyre Peninsula, Minister for Health Chris Picton hopes these reimbursements will encourage health professionals to make the move to the state.
