Female Sports Grant For Port Lincoln Soccer Association

Almost $2.2 million has been allocated to local sports clubs through the Power of Her grant program.

And one local council was named on the list of successful applicants who will receive infrastructure funding for female dedicated sporting facilities, and to encourage female participation.

The City of Port Lincoln securing $400,000 to construct two unisex changerooms at Kirton Point Sports Precinct.

Football SA expects girls’ participation to grow by 33 percent over the next three years, off the back of the Matildas’ efforts in the Women’s World Cup.
