The fire danger season on the Eyre Peninsula has been extended for another two weeks.
After consultation with all bushfire management committees, the Eastern Eyre, Lower Eyre and West Coast districts will now end their season on April 30th.
The CFS says the extensions are due to significant amounts of broadacre burning taking place in some regions, combined with the high levels of dry fuel loads.

The service are encouraging residents to start planning for the next Fire Danger Season by updating bushfire survival plans and thinking about general fire maintenance around the home.
