Eyre Peninsula town one of the healthiest regions in Australia

One of our towns on the Eyre Peninsula has been named on the list of healthiest places to live in Australia.

Elliston is among the 45 healthiest regions, according to new data from Australia’s Health Tracker.

The data surveyed more than 2000 Aussies, finding those living in the healthier regions live up to eight years longer than the national average and are less prone to chronic conditions.

Nine SA towns and suburbs made the list.
