An alleged drink driver has walked away from a crash with minor facial injuries and an instant loss of licence.
Around 9pm on Saturday, 16 December, police were called to a crash into a Stobie pole at the intersection of Harvey Street and Ansley Place.
They located the driver of the vehicle – a 36-year-old local woman – who recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.181.

She was reported for drink driving and aggravated driving without due care, and will appear in court at a later date.
