Locals are being asked if they’d like to see electric vehicle charging stations in the Port Lincoln Leisure Centre car park.
The RAA approached Council to identify two locations for 7kW charging stations, and although other potential locations were put forward for consideration, the Port Lincoln Leisure Centre remains RAA’s preferred location.
The keys terms being requested by the RAA are:

- A licence term of five years, with an optional five year renewal.
- Council is to supply power to the charging stations. Usage to be separately metered and on-charged to RAA at cost.
- All installation, maintenance and other ongoing costs are to be borne by RAA.
Community feedback can be lodged through council’s online engagement hub until November 10th.
