The end of Louth Bay jetty has been closed after a routine inspection uncovered a localised settlement and sparked safety concerns.
The affected 25 m will remain closed until engineers can find the cause of the settlement and undertake remediation works.

Community members have expressed disappointment at the closure, especially ahead of the Easter long weekend.
Some took to social media to say this would not be a problem in metropolitan areas, and others saying this is getting beyond a joke.
Lower Eyre Council apologise for the inconvenience, and say we still have 75 m of jetty to enjoy.
