Local First Nations artist Presten Warren won the 2023 Port Lincoln NAIDOC Youth Award, sponsored by headspace.
The 23-year-old began painting with his grandmother at a young age, and now shares his story through art.
He says he’s proud of his achievements since starting his business, Painted Studios, in September last year.

His artwork has garnered a lot of attention – nationally and internationally – with some of his paintings now hanging on walls in the United States.
Mr Warren has extended a big thank you on social media towards those who nominated him and said winning a NAIDOC Award from his hometown is something he’s always wanted, but never imagined he’d achieve.
