The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Family Law Roadshow

The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Family Law Roadshow is coming to Port Lincoln on Tuesday 4 March 2025
Come to an information session on Tuesday 4 March 2025 from 10am to 1pm at the Mallee Park Football Club with a light lunch provided.

The Roadshow aims to spread information as widely as possible that family members can make an application through the family law court’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander list to have children live with them when there are worries about the safety of the children. For some, this can be a good way to keep children safe and connected to family, community and culture. Once parents have resolved their issues, they can apply to have the children back.

The session is coordinated by the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and Pathways SA.
Presenters include:

• Judge Kelly on the Court’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander list;
• Family dispute resolution practitioner;
• Indigenous Family Liaison Officer.
