Kookaburra Graphite Project Pre-Feasibility Study Released

Lincoln Minerals has unveiled exciting plans for its Kookaburra graphite project on the EP, with a development cost of just $29 million…

According to a pre-feasibility study released on Monday, the project located near Tumby Bay, is expected to generate average earnings of $23 million annually over its 16-year lifespan.

The project will be developed in two stages – the first stage will focus on producing 11,000 tonnes of industrial graphite per year, while the second stage, aims to ramp up production to 62,000 tonnes between years three and seven.

CEO, Jonathon Trewartha, expressed the goal of becoming the first Australian graphite producer to market, initially targeting the industrial sector and eventually entering the lithium-ion battery supply chain as demand increases.
