A new restaurant has submitted a proposal to the City of Port Lincoln for an outdoor dining area next to 80-81 Tasman Terrace.
This development would result in the loss of one car parking space, and as such the council have decided to put it to the people.
Before granting a permit, they are inviting public comments on the proposal.
The initiative would be part of a plan to transform the existing building into a restaurant, which aims to enhance local dining options.
We’re also told the al fresco area has been designed to minimize disruptions to pedestrian access and traffic flow, with the current pedestrian crossing point to be retained.
Residents are encouraged to share their opinions by Friday, November 15.
