Locals invited to comment on boat safety

The first South Australian Recreational Boating Safety Strategy is in development.

The Department for Infrastructure and Transport is creating a five-year plan to improve safety for recreational boaters in SA’s coastal and inland waters.

This has been in the pipeline since consultations began in November 2023.

During the consultations, the community shared safety issues and solutions for inclusion in the plan.

Locals can now have a say on the proposed measures in a survey on the Department’s website until 6 September.
