Roadworks on Birdseye Highway to improve drainage start today.
Works will be undertaken between North Spriggs Road and Bamman Road to ensure a safe and efficient road network as part of the Iragie Creek Drainage Upgrade.
Safety measures in place during the project will include speed restrictions, traffic signals, and detours.

DM Roads says efforts will be made to minimise the impact of the works on local residents.
Works are scheduled for 24 June until 31 July.
