Fishers across South Australia have cast themselves in a good light, with most abiding by recreational fishing regulations over the Easter long weekend.
PIRSA checked in on 2,500 fishers over the four days, and only 30 fines were issued, along with 26 cautions.
Director Operations Fisheries and Aquaculture Benn Gramola says the regulations are crucial for protecting the state’s aquatic resources.
