Following a horror year on South Australian roads that saw 63 deaths in regional areas, the State Government is taking action.
$168-million will be put towards regional roads, with a focus on shoulder sealing, roadside barriers, lane widening and pavement upgrades.
Minister for Emergency Services Joe Szakacs says upgrading regional roads is a major part of the state’s effort to curb serious crash stats.

It’s understood projects and locations getting a slice of the funding will be determined throughout 2024.
