There’s a callout for builders across the state to deliver new homes in regional SA as work continues to attract more skilled workers to the regions.
The Office for Regional Housing and Renewal SA have secured sites in the Far North, Riverland and the Limestone Coast.
They’ve also set their sights on Whyalla as demand grows with major projects like the Hydrogen Jobs Plan.
Minister for Housing and Urban Development Nick Champion says they want to hear from experienced builders who can start work quickly to ensure our regions can grow and provide the services their communities need.
“We’re putting the callout to builders to build this initial supply of 30 homes for government employees in regional settings, Mr Champion says.
“I think everybody feels the urgency, we’d all like to go faster, we’d all like to click our fingers and have homes appear, but I’m confident that my agency is working as quickly as possible.”
