Port Lincoln Community Bank will donate $5,000 to the city’s local RSPCA branch this afternoon, after exceeding its monthly targets.
The bank’s Business Development Manager, David Stoeckel said they heard of the local branch doing it tough, needing industrial strength washing machines for items such as dog blankets.
Speaking yesterday, Mr. Stoeckel said the RSPCA are over the moon with the donation.
“The response we got from them was just exceptional,” he said.
“We had these funds to provide, that was an absolutely worthwhile cause, the RSPCA do a great job and we can’t wait to get down there [today] to provide the funds to them.”
